Celebrity referee appearances

At SportsVest we like to do things a little but differently so we bring in some celebrity ref’s to help out with the sports. We’ve had the likes Premiership referee and king of controversy, Jeff Winter in previous years. Apart from officiating the games the celebrity ref’s get involved with the banter and you’ll have plenty of photo opp’s too. You’ll also be able to attend the Q&A sessions after the games and find out who really the dirtiest player was or who was the biggest moaner. You might also be lucky enough to have a drink or two afterwards in the players lounge.

GET YOUR KIT ON - FANCY DRESS THEMES

Each night SportsVest will have a different theme night that will bring your team mates closer together. Lets admit it there is no finer sight than a 17 stone rugby prop dressed in drag on a warm spring night or 100 Umper Lumpers dancing.

We will announce this years SportsVest fancy dress themes closer to the event. Any funny and witty suggestions then please e-mail them in to us.

DAY TIME ACTIVITIES

Don’t fancy getting up in the morning to get tackled by your arch nemesis from the local Poly or Red Brick then have a lie in and take on some of our other day time activities. We’ll be running daily Volleyball, Football and Rounders competitions on the beach. These will be nothing too serious but ideal for those who just want to chill out on the beach and get a bit sweaty.

EXCURSIONS AND DAY TRIPS

At SportsVest we like to offer you some other things to do than sports, topping up the tan on the beach and partying in the clubs. Places are running out for all off our excursions, so don’t get left by the pool, whilst everyone else is off enjoying the booze cruise…

Barcelona day trip £15 (Spain Only)
Barcelona is a beautiful, bustling, 'beachy' city with culture oozing from the very brickwork which meanders La Rambla. The city sizzles all year round and has been on the cutting edge of architecture and culture since the great Gaudi lay down his hat. From the sun soaked tapas bars and sangria fuelled siesta's to the must see landmarks such as the gothic Cathedral, SportsVest cannot speak highly enough of this modern cosmopolitan city steeped in rich history. This excursion takes place on the free day off from sports on the Wednesday and leaves in the morning from Lloret to return in the early evening. This can be pre booked for your whole group or built into your package.

Nou Camp Excursion £25 (Spain Only)
This is your chance to visit the home of the 2011 Champions League winners FC Barcelona. Tread the footsteps of Barca greats like Xavi, Ronaldinho, Romario, Stoichkov, Samuel Eto'o, Cruyff and Messi on the stadium tour. This behind the scenes tour takes in the trophy room, dug out, changing rooms, player’s tunnel plus much more. This excursion includes coach travel to the Nou Camp and entry to the stadium tour. It takes place on Wednesday, the SportsVest chill out day. Just don’t forget your camera!

Catamaran cruise £29 (Spain & Croatia)
The Catamaran cruise is a must for all sea lovers. Departing from the resort beach you’ll be picked up and whisked away to party on the ocean waves. Once out at sea our crew and DJ’s will get the party started with the beats on the boat and get you dancing on the deck. On top of this you can also take advantage of the complimentary bar whilst out at sea with free flowing beer, Cava, sangria and soft drinks. This is a must do excursion which sells out every year. The cruise can be added to your whole group as part of your package.

Insurance Excess Waver £5
Thinking of taking your iPod, laptop, phone or any other bit of gadgetry on tour with you? Well in the event of it getting damaged or stolen or if you get injured this cover is ideal for you. The insurance excess waver offers you that extra piece of mind when travelling our insurance excess cover is for you. We do offer travel insurance as standard to all passengers on SportsVest however you can pay £5 extra of waive any excess you may have to pay in the case of making a claim.
