Is my money protected?
As a Tour Operator Outgoing are legally obliged to protect it’s customer for any business eventualities. Therefore, we operate a bonding scheme where each customers cash is kept safe in a bonded trust account. As a company we are only able to access this cash once you have returned safely from your holiday. We also have ABTA membership which assures your trip with us even further. Our ABTA number is: Y1415/L5645

Health & Safety
All our venues, facilities and transport networks meet the required safety standards and all events are fully risk assessed. Please see the Health & Safety section under the Extras menu for more information.

Is it a social or formal tournament?
All of our events are professionally planned and managed on a formal basis but the taking part is all about fun and the social side. After all you are on Tour.

Is there a limited on teams/players we can take?
There is no limit on the amount of players, teams or spectators you wish to take. However there are minimum numbers for certain sports to ensure the best possible tournaments can take place.

Will we be in the same hotel/accommodation?
We will do everything in our power to make sure your group is in the same hotel/accommodation where possible. Our hotels are exclusive to SportsVest guests only.

Where does the coach depart from?
If your group is over 20 we can arrange a central pick up point at your University or anywhere else you specify to us. We will work closely with all group leaders to make your tour as easy as possible.

Confirmation of final numbers, final balances etc
Your final balance and full confirmation numbers will be due in full 8 weeks before the event itself. Before then you are welcome to pay off your final balances gradually. This makes paying for Tour nice and easy so you pay when you have the money.

What documentation do I need (passports, visa etc)
A full UK passport will be needed with at least 6 months to run on it. If you are a passenger from outside the EU you will have to apply for the necessary Visa's to enter Spain.

What is an EHIC?
The European Health Insurance Card has replaced the old E1-11 form and covers you for minor hospital/clinic visits to state-provided healthcare in Spain and all other European Union countries at a reduced cost or sometimes free of charge. Definitely worth getting one sorted!

How do I get an EHIC?
The European Health Insurance Card is available to all EU citizens can be obtained from http://www.nhs.uk/EHIC/Pages/About.aspx

Hotel/coach deposits
Each customer will be required to put down a deposit of £50 per person for the coach and accommodation. This is taken upon booking and is returned to your bank account if everything is left in a satisfactory condition. This is usually done within 3 weeks of return.

What is my baggage allowance?
Coach travel - you are limited to one case/holdall as there is limited space on the coaches. For flights this will depend on the carrier. We will inform you of this closer to the time.

What time should I check in for my flight?
All UK flights must be checked in at least two hours before departure time.

What sports equipment do we need to bring?
A full list of equipment you will need for your sport will be sent to you prior to the event. For example some football events may take place on 3G pitches rather than grass so you will need to pack accordingly.

What documentation will be needed?
Everyone will need a valid passport. This is compulsory for ferry and air travel plus you will need it to check into your hotel. The law in Spain dictates that you must carry photo ID with you at all times. Student cards or driving licences are best suited to this rather than taking your Passport to bars and clubs. You will also need to print out your e-voucher/ticket to board coaches and check into the hotel.

Where will the pick-up points be?
The pick-up points will be at universities all over the UK. Just indicate what university you require to be picked up at when booking online. We will confirm the departure point on the electronic vouchers sent out two weeks prior to travel.
Will there be a rep on my Coach?
There is likely to be a SportsVest representative on the coach, if there is not we have vast amounts of SportsVest Reps at the resort waiting for you to arrive and show you the best time of your student life.

What if I need to cancel?
Just give us a call and we can deal with it. There will be a cancellation fee per person that cancels.

Can someone take my place?
Yes they can, please inform us ASAP so we can change the details. A fee applies for name changes.

Why do we need to pay a security deposit?
We need a security deposit of £50, this will be returned to you within 3 weeks of returning. We need this just in case there is any damage to the hotel, hotel rooms or coach. The security deposit has to be received online prior to travelling. This is standard within the industry on sports tours.

When will I receive tickets/documentation?
You will receive your E-Tickets two weeks prior to travel.

Getting Organised, Are you ready?
The best holidays don't just happen spontaneously. Just a little bit of time spent getting things organised before you actually get to SportsVest can save a lot of pain and headaches in the long run.

How do I pay for my trip?
All payments will be done over the internet, you can pay individually this way or you can give your money to your group leader and they can take care of all the hard work. We do not take over the phone bookings. To secure your place you just need to pay a holding deposit of £60 before the Christmas deadline.

How much money will I need?
All the travel, entertainment, breakfast, evening meals inc wine and water and the majority of the activities are all included in the cost of SportsVest, all you really need money for is drinks and snacks.
