SPORTSVEST AT THE BUCS CONVENTION
On your marks......: SportsVest recently took part in the BUCS convention by hosting a stall at the trade fair. We got to meet all the new movers and shakers in the world of student sport from A.U. Presidents, heads of sport, administrators and sports development officers who were all keen to jump aboard the SportsVest band wagon. By the end of the day most were converted to the world of SV, especially with all the branded freebies everyone was working around with. It was also good to see a few of the delegates working out in the gym in their free Vests.

DATES ANNOUNCED
SportsVest 2011: We’re back ladies and gents. After the huge success of the last few years we are proud to announce the dates for 2011. We’ll be taking over sunny Lloret De Mar once again from Saturday 9th April to Friday 15th April 2011. We’ve got some grand plans for you lucky punters this year with even more big name acts, more students, more parties, more sports and much more banter. Happy New Year
2010 here we come: Welcome back boys and girls. With these dark, snowy, icy, cold days dragging on for weeks SportsVest will be something that will warm your cockles. It's only one term to go now until SportsVest 2010 kicks off on the warm sunny beaches of Lloret De Mar. So get in training now to work off those extra pounds from excess turkey and mince pies.

SportsVest at Winter Break
SV hits the mountains:
The SportsVest crew have just returned from a week at Winter Break in Les Arcs, France. Winter Break is the annual must attend student ski, board and music holiday. The week long event consisted of boarding and skiing during the day time and partying at night with DJ's entertaining such as the Free Stylers, Tayo, Urban Knights and Joe Ransom. The highlight of the week though had to be the SportsVest night with headline DJ's the Scratch Perverts. Special mention has to go out to Uni of Liverpool, Lancaster, Chester, Royal Holloway and Southampton Solent for keeping us entertained and sporting many vests and fancy dress outfits. A whistle stop tour of Lloret
We've got our bags packed and we're ready to go...: The SportsVest team are heading overseas to the lovely Lloret De mar to check out the beach, the booze and the babes!
We will be supping Sangria and San Miguel whilst inspecting the clubs, pubs and pitches - ensuring they are all up to scratch and ready for the SportsVest 2010 invasion!!

BUCS Surf Champs
Dude!!!: Team SportsVest hit the sunny beaches of Newquay for 3 days of surfing, caravanning, pool partying, night clubbing and general student banter last weekend. The comp was blessed with sunshine and some of the UK's top surfing talent competing for the crown of BUCS champion for 2009. Special mention has to go out to the winners Swansea (Women’s Individual & Women’s Team), Bournemouth (Men’s individual) and Plymouth (Men’s Team).

BUCS Surf Championships 2009
Surfs up: Outgoing have teamed up with BUCS to produce the 2009 BUCS Surf Championships. Held in Newquay from 15th - 18th October the UK's top student surfers are hitting the waves to see who is top dog. BUCS Conference
The season starts here.: SportsVest recently attended the BUCS conference at Keele University and met up with the movers and shakers of University sport. Many a promo sports vest where handed out and we even shared a Jager or two with the BBC's John Inverdale.
