Our parents drag us there as kids demanding fry-ups in the sun combined with an ice cool Sangria! Now it's time to hit the Costa Del Party and relive those sun-kissed memories...

LLORET DE MAR

Like Megan Fox and Alton Towers, Lloret De Mar was just built for pleasure - especially Sports Tours and has been welcoming British tourist since the Hippy days of the 1960’s. Situated on the Spanish Costa Brava Lloret is a one hour drive from Barcelona and 40 minutes from Girona.

It is a party town that is ideally suited to large University Sports Tours with its lively bars and clubs open until 5am.

Our hotels are situated right in the heart of the resort just a short distance from the night life and a stumble to the beach front and local sporting facilities.

It has 7km of wonderful beaches and coves that are EU Blue Flag standard.


The sporting facilities that Lloret have to offer are some of the best in thewhole of Northern Spain and Catalonia and will provide you will unrivalled playing surfaces.

The climate at this time of the year is very pleasant indeed (last years teams returned with a tan...well the ones who got out of bed before sunset did...). Expect hours of warm sunshine and daily highs of 18 C
(t-shirts and shorts weather, in other words).

When you’re not topping up the tan, chasing the opposition or in the midst of a full flung fiesta - there’s a small chance you might want to sleep, or siesta as our continental comrades might say. SportsVest guests will be taking control of our beachside hotels equipped with all the amenities and essentials to keep you in peak performance which includes:

All of our hotels are large resort style hotels that can accommodate large groups so you and your University will be placed within the same accommodation and with other Uni groups. Rooms are on shared between 2-4 persons and are all en suite.

Unlike other sports tours our hotel accommodation is central, next to the bars, clubs, beach, shops restaurants, sports facilities and bus stops.

EXTRA NIGHTS

4 Nights accommodation and your event wristband is all included in the price, however if you want to stay extra nights at either the beginning or at the end of SportsVest, this can be arranged for an extra fee.

This is a great option, especially if you want to take advantage of the different flight options coming in before or after the set SportsVest dates. So if you want an extra day to recover just contact us for more details when booking.
